Family Fun @ Millennium Place

Fun For The Whole Family!

As a mother of 3 I’m always looking for fun family events in and around Sherwood Park. Personally, I think kids should engage in a wide range of activities with balance between outdoor games, indoor games, virtual games, and artistic games. There are multiple activities for children to participate in at Millennium Place, so you can imagine how much I enjoy going there! It offers services for Sherwood Park residents of all ages and stages in life. Some of the things I love most out of Millennium Place include:

1. Party Packages- Millennium Place has multiple birthday packages to choose from. They include full use of all the amenities (indoor playground, gym, climbing wall, swimming pool, ice rink, and youth lounge).
2. Fun Factory- If you’re a recent parent, congratulations! Also, you too can visit Millennium Place without worrying about a sitter. The Fun Factory is a drop-in babysitting service for parents who are attending activities at Millennium. They have friendly staff to watch children from newborns to 5 year olds.
3. Monthly Special Events- Millennium Place is having a Thanksgiving Charity Workout on October 14th! Admission is free with your Food Bank donation. Fitness classes include Zumba, and a Cycle & Bootcamp class. Click here for more information.
4. Youth Activities- The Youth Lounge is open Fridays & Saturdays, they also have fitness activities for teenagers such as a teen fitness swim

The centre also has a Second Cup and Coyote Jacks! So if you’re looking for something to do with the family this weekend or during a long weekend, check out Sherwood Park’s Millennium Place- another great reason why Sherwood Park is the place to be!
